From the moment that I started my A Love Like This project, I knew that I had to document my good friend Shelly and her babies Maui and Zeke. The connection that Shelly has with her pups is so special and so sweet to watch, that I couldn’t help but ask them to continue with my series. No two dogs are as loved as these two.
I should say that I was nervous as hell to photograph Shelly given that she has her own dog photography studio and is an amazing artist. But my friend is so wonderful that I forgot what I was doing; we were simply going on a walk.
Thank you Shelly for trusting me to document the love between you and your babies. I hope I did it justice.
