Random Thought Monday

It’s the last day of my vacation. And just like my head this morning, this post will be a little scatter-brained. I’ve got a ton of stuff to do before I head back to “work” including the finishing touches on Sherry and Sanjay’s wedding. Here are a few things that I’ve been thinking but aren’t hefty enough to constitute their own post.

  • I’ve eaten entirely too much this past week. Seriously. I think I’ve gained five pounds but I’ve loved every minute of it so maybe it’s the joy that’s making me weigh more. No?
  • At some point this week I had to clean mice poop. Yup, mice poop. My grandma has a little visitor and we’re trying to discover where he’s coming from. It was interesting.
  • I got to spend some much needed time with my family yesterday for Easter. As always, the food was amazing (definitely joy). And once again I was impressed by my parents and their beliefs. It fills my heart to know that I don’t really have to fight my parents about things like politics, faith and such. It’s not a big deal, just nice is all.
  • Saw How To Train Your Dragon in 3D with Mike on Friday. Yes, we are grown-ass people who went without kids. That movie made me fall in love with movies all over again. I literally said the word “wow” about five times throughout it. The story is great and funny and the animation is breath-taking. This was the make-it or break-it movie for us in regards to 3D. We walked in not convinced and walked out ready to buy stock in the little 3D glasses. If you haven’t see the movie, go.
  • The other day my sister, Yani, went as our assistant to an engagement shoot. Here are some pictures:

  • This both broke my heart and lifted my spirits. It definitely took my breath away. Click HERE.
  • I read two books and am on my third. I’ve done more damage in a week before but not bad considering how much other work I’ve gotten done.
  • I still get nervous when talking about this business. Especially when trying to sell my business to a potential client. Will this ever go away?
  • I know this is old but I saw it again this morning and it made me happy. What can I say? I’m a sucker for romance. And Google.

Love, e
