I don’t know how I got so lucky. Somehow, I’ve learned my way around a camera and people are paying me to take pictures of them and their kids. Somehow, I’ve managed to take pictures of the cutest kids I’ve ever seen. Everyday I wake up and thank God for such a wonderful job. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed as I start on this crazy path but then I spend days like the one with this shoot and it’s all worth it.
Two weeks ago Mike and I had the absolute pleasure of spending the afternoon with Tania, Haim and their too-cute for words daughter, Alissa. Not only is she cute, she’s smart as all get out. Mike’s first words upon meeting her, “Man, she’s smarter than me.” What a charming baby and family. We took pictures in their home then headed down to Miracle Mile in Coconut Grove for some more portraits. These are just a few of the many we took. I’m in love with ALL of them.

I’m going to stop for a moment to talk about how blown away I was by the pictures that Mike took. Here are four of them. I’d be remise if I didn’t mention how they are my favorite four of the whole shoot. Watch out world. Mike and Elaine are comin’ at ya!

Tania - ELANIE!!!! AAAHHHH!!! First I cannot believe you chose that song!!! Haim and I discovered, Israel (the Hawaiian singer of that song, not the counrty, lol) on our honeymoon, in Hawaii, we fell in love it with and it was the song we chose to have our wedding video set to. I cannot begin to tell you how the tears just started flowing watching what our lives have become since then… as captured by YOU and Mike!!! Not only are we blessed to live the life that we do, with our daughter and soon our son at the center of our world, but that fact that you were able to document it…I have no words!! These pictures are priceless to us! We will never be at this stage in our lives again and YOU DID IT… YOU WERE able to save it through pictures for us forever!!! Like I said, NO WORDS!! Before you are busy doing the same for the rest of the world, PLEASE save some more time for us, for when Alexander arrives! You won’t be a hidden secret awesome photographer for much longer!
